What we do
Based in Sydney, Noggin is an Australian software developer that works with a variety of State and Commonwealth Government agencies and blue chip corporations to implement emergency management, critical infrastructure management, crisis communications and information management systems. We also provide a variety of software and consulting services that enable our customers to get the most out of their Noggin software and to leverage industry expertise drawn from a range of different clients. Our staff are highly trained and specialise in solving business problems through the application of innovative technology.
Our origins
Noggin was established in 2000 by technology professionals to develop online information management software for large blue chip organisations and government agencies.
Early on in Noggin's history a technical expertise in incident management and mass communications evolved, with a number of Australian government agencies driving the development of the first generation of Noggin emergency management software. The perspective of these agencies was that there was no product in the marketplace that adequately met the all of the needs of the emergency or incident manager, and Noggin brought a fresh perspective and a capability in user-friendly IT solutions.
11 years on, and Noggin now competes on the world stage.
During the past 5 years Noggin has experienced some significant growth, especially with the launch of the OCA products in late 2008. Noggin's staff are now thought leaders in the incident management space, and our project managers come from the emergency and incident management sector, having worked in real life emergency and crisis situations.
