Backbone CMS

Backbone ® version 1.0 is Noggin's 4th generation Content Management System (CMS). It is an enterprise level CMS that allows you to control the content on your website with intuitive and unique in-context page editing, workflows and rich media tools.

Backbone offers convenient access to your CMS and related tools through a web browser, with the security of a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and it can be deployed on your existing server environment or as software as a service (SaaS).

With a range of standard content modules and the ability to add customised modules or business processes such as membership management, advertising campaigns, ecommerce and intranet tools, Backbone is an expandable and flexible solution for all your online requirements.

Backbone features such as version control with rollback, a drag-and-drop interface, in-context editing, WYSIWYG and Media Manager make content management easy.

Backbone has built-in website analytics tools, integrated with Google Analytics, to collect website traffic data, segment and profile visitors and track events. Website data collection and management tools are compatible with most existing third party database management software or can be integrated with Noggin's mass communication software Organise Communicate Act (OCA)

Noggin's mature R&D program ensures Backbone is continually being improved with the latest web technologies and trends and it can be upgraded to the latest version.
