  • Free e-learning modules with each subscription to our products
  • Standard face-to-face training workshops
  • Customised training to suit your organisation or custom application
  • Train-the-trainer options
  • Training systems to support face-to-face workshops
  • Workshops held in one of our training facilities (Sydney CBD area), at a premise in your own city, or at your own business premises

E-Learning

E-learning is the primary way that subscribers to Noggin's products learn how to use our systems. We have developed training modules that are generic to each system and that teach users how to do specific things. These modules can be completed at any time (and revisited if necessary), can be paused and restarted, and require an internet connection to run.

Each user is provided with an account on the e-learning system that tracks their progress through a series of bite-sized modules. Users can choose the number and order of modules that they want to complete and they can complete them in their own time.

E-learning is useful for those clients with:

  • Geographically dispersed staff
  • Staff with little time to dedicate to training workshops
  • A need to scale up to hundreds of users in a short period of time
  • Pressures to keep training costs to a minimum
  • A need to revisit training regularly (e.g. annually) in a cost effective manner

Face-to-face training workshops

For more in depth training, Noggin offers face-to-face training workshops conducted by our experienced trainers in a computer based environment. Depending on the number of participants and client requirements, these workshops can be conducted at Noggin, in the client's own facilities or at a third party facility.

Workshops are supported with workbooks that users can take away and keep their own notes in. Workbooks cover the full range of topics even if a training session only covers those processes that are most important to the organisation. The workshops are flexible and the exercises and theory covered will shift depending on how users are going on the day.

Clients have the option of standard training or customised training.

Standard training workshops

Each standard workshop is a half day of computer-based training and includes a mix of theory and participant run exercises.

These courses have been develop around the requirements of typical user types and are designed to cover the topics that the client identifies as being the most applicable. There are 4 different standard courses on offer: Express User, Extended User, Advanced User and Administrator. Contact Noggin for more details about any of these workshops including duration and costs.

Customised workshops

Alternatively, Noggin can customise a course to meet the training or organisational needs of a specific client. Typically this is done by choosing a selection of appropriate topics from our standard course list and tailoring them to use client-specific terminology, exercise examples and business processes. Contact Noggin for more details about this workshop including duration and costs.

Train-the-trainer

The train-the-trainer process requires the client to identify training resources from within their organisation to deliver customised training courses. Noggin will train these trainers in system use (typically via our own standard training workshops) and provide the default training work books for the client to customise. Contact Noggin for more details about these workshops including duration and costs.

Training systems

Noggin uses a standard training system to deliver the standard workshops. Each participant is given their own system during the workshops with their own exercises and examples to work with. Customised training sites can also be created using real client data in order to accommodate a customised training course.
